Grasshoppers Zurich have joined St Gallen at the top of the Swiss football league after a thrilling 4-2 victory over their city rivals FC Zurich.

The 11,200 fans who packed into Grasshoppers' Hardturm stadium were treated to a local derby that had everything: goals, end-to-end action and a hat-trick from the home side hero, Nunez.

The result means that Grasshoppers are now level on points with defending champions St Gallen, who play Lausanne away on Saturday. FC Zurich remain in sixth place in the table.
