Hingis eases into Dubai quarter-finals
Martina Hingis had no difficulties in reaching the quarter-finals of the WTA tournament in Dubai on Wednesday.
The world number one saw off South Africa’s Joannette Kruger in straight sets, needing just 52 minutes to wrap up her 6-2, 6-1 win.
Hingis, who is looking to build on last week’s title win in Doha, will now take on France’s Sandrine Testud for a place in the semi-finals.
