Suter clocks second Bulgarian downhill success
Switzerland's Fabienne Suter has reached third place in the women's second downhill World Cup ski race in Bulgaria.
The podium place follows her victory in the initial downhill contest in Bansko on Friday, where she took first place.
The 24-year-old from central Switzerland had shown strong performances during practice runs.
Andrea Fischbacher of Austria won the race, her second World Cup victory, in one minute, 45:81 seconds.
Tina Maze of Slovenia followed, 0.26 seconds after Fischbacher’s time, and Suter clocked 0.39 seconds after the leader.
Fellow Swiss, Lara Gut, came fourth, 0.62 seconds after Fischbacher.
