Swiss ice hockey squad wrestle down Sweden
Switzerland have won their third match at the World Ice Hockey Championship, defeating favourites Sweden 4-2.
The Swiss team take top spot in their group and stand a good chance of qualifying for the quarter-final.
Goals by Paterlini, Ambühl, Monnet and Forster secured Switzerland’s first victory over Sweden in 15 years in Quebec, Canada, on Wednesday.
The Swiss squad with coach Ralph Krueger have a perfect record at the championship following victories over France and Belarus earlier in the tournament.
Switzerland which will host the world championship next year, play the Czech Republic on Friday before taking on Denmark and Russia.
