Zug cling to top slot in ice hockey league
Zug had a comfortable 5-3 win over lowly Chur on Saturday, holding on to their top spot in Switzerland's ice hockey first division.
Zug never looked in difficulty against newly-promoted Chur, who dropped to last place after fellow strugglers La Chaux-de-Fonds gained their first victory of the season with a 3-2 home win over Davos.
Level on points with Zug are Ambri who thumped Berne 6-2. ZSC Lions retain third spot, one point behind the leaders, after beating Fribourg-Gottéron 3-2.
In the two other matches on Saturday, Kloten beat Rapperswil/Jona 5-2, climbing four places in the league table to fifth position. Struggling Lugano had a 3-0 victory over Langnau.
