The Federal Parliament, with its laws and stories, is a world apart. But for many who roam its marbled floors daily, it is a place of work like any other.

It’s a world Edouard Rieben knows particularly well, being one of the oldest accredited press photographers working in the parliament. For 38 years, he has worked alongside not only national and international politicians, but also those who work behind the scenes to make sure the halls of power operate smoothly.
