Small earthquake in eastern Switzerland
An earthquake of a magnitude of 4.1 on the Richter scale was felt in large parts of eastern Switzerland and western Austria on Sunday afternoon.
The epicentre was near the town of Buchs, close to the frontier with Liechtenstein.
The tremor, which occurred at about 4.30 in the afternoon, was followed by an aftershock about 20 minutes later with a magnitude of 3.1.
No damage was reported, and the Swiss seismological service in Zurich said none would be expected at such a low strength.
