Stosa sold to Italian group

The Swiss blind and parasol maker, Stosa, is being taken over by the Italian group Arquati. The new owners have assured staff at Stosa that no redundancies would result from the change.

Arquati said in a statement that its acquisition of a majority stake in the group would still allow Stosa to continue its business in much the same way as it did before.

Located in canton Argau, Stosa, will continue to work under the same name with the same management. The price of the deal was not released.

Based in Buchs, with operations in Berne and Lausanne, the group employs 65 staff. The company produces blinds and parasols, together with a range of conservatories and tents.
