Swiss show jumping team takes second place in Slovakia

Switzerland's show jumping team has finished in second place at the Bratislava Concours de Saute Hippique Internationale Officielle (CSIO). Despite coming in behind the German World Champions, the team managed to match their best result this year.

The Swiss horse-riding team equalled its performance in Rome earlier this year, thanks in part to Céline Stauffer, who achieved faultless runs in both rounds of the competition. Stauffer, who comes from Western Switzerland, excelled with her 10-year-old stallion “Dalubet d’Evordes.

Other members of the team also performed well. Theo Muff and his “Karando” only faulted once in both rounds, just as Jörg Röthlisberger with his “Zeno d’Or”.

The German team won the competition for the sixth time this season with faultless performances.
