Under 21 Swiss win again

Switzerland have nearly booked their place in the semifinals of the European Under-21 Football Championship after defeating Iceland 2-0 on Tuesday.

Fabian Frei got the first Swiss goal, converting a Xherdan Shaqiri pass in the first minute of the match.

Innocent Emeghara scored the second in the 40th minute.

Switzerland now has two wins after two matches, cementing their place at the top of Group A.

The Swiss side beat host country Denmark 1-0 on June 11.

They play Belarus on Saturday.
