Volleyballers selected for Olympics
The national Olympic committee has nominated beach volleyball players Simone Kuhn and Lea Schwer for the Summer Games in Beijing.

They bring the number of Swiss athletes travelling to the Chinese capital to 84 in competition, as well as four substitutes.
Kuhn/Schwer – 25th in the Olympic ranking of women's beach volleyball – replace an Austrian pair who had to withdraw owing to injury.
The Swiss will play at least three games, including against the top-seeded Tian Jia/Wang Jie of China.
Switzerland is also sending two men's beach volleyball teams to the Games, which begin on August 8.
