In the 1990s, Jean-Pascal Imsand was one of the up-and-coming Swiss photographers before his untimely death at age 34. His work is hard to classify, with photo-montages admired for their aesthetic and narrative qualities, socio-documentary reportages and views of Zurich taken shortly before he passed away in 1994.
