Federal Commission against Racism

The Federal Commission against Racism was created in 1995. It was set up by the government to fight racism, anti-Semitism, xenophobia and rightwing extremism.

It fights all forms of direct and indirect racial discrimination and attaches a particular importance to prevention.

It promotes a better understanding among people of different racial backgrounds, colour, national or ethnic origins and religions.
