Luder second in five day orienteering event
Switzerland's Simone Luder has pulled off another impressive performance, coming second in the Swedish five-day orienteering competition.
Luder was beaten only by the Norwegian world champion, Hanne Staff, who finished eight seconds ahead of the Bernese runner. Luder’s second place finish comes just a week after she won two world cup events in Finland.
This weekend’s competition was the biggest and most well-known orienteering race in Sweden, the homeland of the sport. More than 16,000 competitors took part this year.
