Mountain passes close due to early snow
Five passes have been closed since Saturday because of early snowfalls.

The Nufenen, Furka, Grimsel, San Bernardino and Susten passes, all above 2,000 metres, were closed during the night from Friday to Saturday or on Saturday morning.
According to MétéoSuisse, snow fell to 1,200 metres in certain regions. The valleys of Surselva and Engadine in canton Graubünden were most hit by the snowfalls.
In canton Valais the snow line was at 1,800 metres, while in the Bernese Oberland it went down to 1,600 metres.
