Baze: D’Party isch vrbi
Rap. Bernese rapper Baze is one of Switzerland's most eminent representatives of this genre. Right from the start Swiss-German dialect was his preferred language of choice. Having just turned thirty Baze has taken a more pensive tone on his new release, D'Party isch vrbi (The Party Is Over Now). The melancholic songs about leaving adolescence behind flow calmly, framed by funky doses of cool jazz and warm bubbling electronica.
