Boris Pilleri’s Jammin’: Monkey Playhouse
Blues / Rock / Funk. Guitar wizard Boris Pilleri is a dyed-in-the-wool rock musician from the Bernese scene. His band Jammin' (formerly known as Jammin' The Blues) is currently beginning its 35th year of existence and has so far performed more than thousand live gigs in Switzerland and abroad. On Monkey Playhouse Pilleri features a brand new combo with a funky horn section on top. This charismatic leader scores on this album with covers of blues standards and a handful of originals. Additionally, all selections are adorned by Pilleri's expressive guitar solos.
