Ländlerkapelle Vadret: Äs Bündner Plättli

swissinfo.ch

Instrumental. This family quintet from Davos was founded almost 50years ago and named after the prominent local mountain Piz Vadret. From the very beginning, its members devoted themselves to music in the classic, Grisons folk style. Penned by brothers-leaders Jann and Kaspar Ambühl, its mainly full-blooded originals gave the group a distinct sound. These days the Ländlerkapelle Vadret still appears publicly in a slightly rejuvenated setting. Äs Bündner Plättli features this ensemble's current spicy, sonic treats.
