Richard Strauss: Eine Alpensinfonie (An Alpine Symphony). Orchestre de L'Opéra de Paris. Philippe Jordan, conductor.

This concert was recorded and has now been released. And the interpretation marked a thrilling event indeed. Besides massive tone clouds, the many intimate passages, bringing nearly surreal sounds alive, catch the listener's ear.
