Steff la Cheffe: Bittersüessi Pille (Bittersweet Pill)
23 years old female rapper Stefanie Peter alias Steff la Cheffe surprises with her powerful debut album Bittersüessi Pille (Bittersweet Pill). Steff started rap music in her teens and rose to early fame as a vice world champion in beatboxing. During 2009 an engagement in the Andreas Vollenweider band was a following step. Steff's songs are written in the dialect of her hometown Berne. And the ironic lyrics set her clearly apart from common rap stereotypes.
