Stegreif GmbH: Rütli
Instrumental. Stegreif GmbH is an up-and-coming young sextet from the Helvetian heartland near Lake Lucerne. Back in 2008 they debuted on the occasion of a ministerial meeting at the Rütli, the birthplace of the Old Swiss Confederacy. Their first album thus bears the name of this legendary meadow. For the time being, this simpatico group has enriched its traditional Central Swiss style with Romance elements and Northern tinges. In sum, their open upbeat music definitely stands for the new movement of the present day Swiss folk music generation. And Rütli is a sonic oath heralding a further bright future.
