Rainy day for Sauber

Nick Heidfeld dropped down one place after making three pit stops and receiving a penalty Keystone

Switzerland's Formula One racing team, Sauber, have finished in disappointing eighth and tenth place at the San Marino Formula One Grand Prix in Imola.

Brazil's Felipe Massa took eighth place, while Germany's Nick Heidfeld finished tenth. Heidfeld dropped down one place after making three pit stops and receiving a penalty.

Sunday's race was largely dominated by the quadruple world champion, Michael Schumacher, who took his 56th career victory at Imola. Brasil's Rubens Barrichello finished second and Schumacher's brother Ralph, third.

Schumacher continues to lead the world championship rankings, with 34 points, while his brother is second with 20 points.
