Schnyder loses out in Strasbourg
Swiss number two Patty Schnyder has been knocked out of the first round of the $170,000 WTA Strasbourg tournament, losing to Germany's Bianka Lamade, 6-3, 2-6, 3-6.

Victory was sweet revenge for Lamade, who suffered a straight sets defeat against her Swiss training partner at the German Open in Berlin a fortnight ago.
Schnyder, who started the month by reaching the quarter-finals in Hamburg, has now notched up five first round defeats since the beginning of the year.
