I lead and coordinate the work of the Chinese department, adapting and producing Chinese content. My work focuses on distributing our content to users across different social media platforms.
After I immigrated to Switzerland, I graduated from two private computer and network technology schools in Switzerland and trained in various media, photography and network programming roles. In 2001, I joined SWI swissinfo.ch and founded the Chinese department.
My main task is to ensure that articles on the Chinese page are accurately translated and appropriately adapted.
Born in Beijing, I studied in Fribourg (Masters in education sciences - francophone) and have lived in German-speaking Switzerland for over 20 years. My intercultural and multilingual experiences are an asset to my daily work.
Responsible for adaptation and editing in the Chinese Department.
I was born in Beijing and have lived in Switzerland for over 30 years. I studied at the University of Bern and have a deep understanding of Switzerland's political system and local customs. Since 2003, I have been working in the Chinese Department of SWI swissinfo.ch, where I am passionate about providing readers with a comprehensive and accurate portrayal of Switzerland.
From cross-strait relations (political and economic relations between China and Taiwan), the US-China rivalry, Sino-Swiss relations, China and its political structures to adaptive development and technological innovation, I report on foreign affairs and their possible impact on Swiss/Chinese politics, economics and society.
A former journalist in Beijing, I am interested in China and its political structures, adaptive development and technological innovation. I studied journalism and communication in China and in Switzerland. Since joining SWI swissinfo.ch in 2015, I have developed a keen interest in international affairs with a focus on China's relations with other countries/blocs and where Switzerland stands.
