New enclosure for Zurich zoo’s elephants

The new elephant enclosure at Zurich zoo, opened this year, is six times bigger than their old home. The 11,000-square-metres Kaeng Krachan enclosure is named after a Thai national park. The pachyderms are now able to move around more freely in conditions closer to those found in the wild.
