Five years after his death, the Museum Tinguely presents the first major retrospective in Switzerland of Arman, French/American artist (1928-2005). Arman was a founding member of the Nouveaux Réalistes and famous for his works which reflected consumer society.The exhibition is in collaboration with the Centre Pompidou, Paris.

French artist JR has just completed his Unframed project in the Swiss city of Vevey. He was given “carte blanche” by the city and Lausanne’s Musée d’Elysée to use it extensive collection of iconic images. JR’s work involves reworking images, blowing them up into huge posters and plastering them on carefully selected urban sites.
