The male choir Les Armaillis de la Gruyère was founded in 1955 by André Corboz, professor of music in Bulle, and Henri Gremaud, the curator of the regional and folk museum. The coir members wear the traditional costume of the cowherds of the district of Gruyère in French-speaking Switzerland.
