Franz Krommer (1759-1831): Music for Wind Octet. Amphion Octet, Basle.
The Amphion Octet has dedicated itself to the serenades and divertimentos of Mozart, and to the arrangements of his operas. Arrangements of larger works such as Haydn's 'Creation' belong to the ensemble's repertoire, as do octets by Rosetti, Hummel and Krommer.
