Franz Tischhauser: Born 1921 in Bern. Schools and graduation in St. Gallen. Musical studies at the Zurich conservatoire. From 1951 to 1983 working at the music department of Radio Zurich, since 1971 as its head. The 'Fantasia opulenta' (Bei TISCH im HAUSE Rossini - at the Rossini table, a play on the composer's name) illustrates a four-course dinner.
