OPERA: Lucia di Lammermoor

The old Roman amphitheatre is the open-air setting for the tragic opera in three acts by Gaetano Donizetti. The story is about rival clans in 16th century Scotland, based on Sir Walter Scott’s historical novel “The Bride of Lammermoor”.
