AMAR QUARTETT (founded 1987) : Anna Brunner, violin; Daria Zappa, violin; Hannes Bärtschi, viola; Maja Weber, cello. On the occasion of Paul Hindemith's 100th Birthday (1995), the ensemble is honoured by the Hindemith Institute in Frankfurt/Germany with the name AMAR QUARTETT, which in its original incarnation had Hindemith as violist.
