Ernest Bloch: Complete Works for Violin and Piano

Late romantic / early 20th century. Not surprisingly famous Swiss composer Ernest Bloch (1880-1959) had a close relationship towards the violin for he himself studied that instrument under the great Eugène Ysaÿe. This stunning album comprises all of his works for violin and piano and allows the listener to get a profound view on Bloch's mystic sound cosm. Violinist is the young upcoming Croatian-Japanese Latica Honda-Rosenberg who resides in Germany. She is accompanied by pianist Avner Arad.
