Traditional celebration marks start of Lavaux harvest
The start of the wine harvest in Lavaux above Lake Geneva has been marked with a traditional ceremony dating back to the Middle Ages. Juice or ‘most’ from the first grapes was transported to Payerne by horse drawn carriage, with stops along the way to share it with the public. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
