Geneva, a hotbed of bike polo.

They meet three times a week at a car park under a motorway opposite La Praille shopping centre in Geneva. Divided into two teams of three, they do battle. They? Fans of bike polo, a sport invented in Ireland at the end of the 19th century and which took off a few years ago when bike couriers in the United States started playing on hard surfaces. Today, bike polo has spread to many cities around the world, from Berlin to New York, via Barcelona. Geneva attracts many of the best players from around Europe.
