With the theme Heroes and Saints, Death and Resurrection, Bernard Haitink and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe continue with their exclusive Brahms cycle in a series of three concerts: “A German Requiem” with Sally Matthews, Christian Gerhaher, and the Arnold Schoenberg Chor; the Double Concerto with the brother-duo Renaud and Gautier Capuçon and the Violin Concerto featuring Leonidas Kavakos; and the Symphonies No. 1 and 2.
