U.N. plane crashes in Haiti – spokeswoman
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) – A U.N. plane with six to 10 people on board crashed on Friday in Haiti, a U.N. spokeswoman said. There was no immediate word on casualties.
Spokeswoman Michele Montas said the surveillance plane belonging to a Uruguayan contingent in the U.N. peacekeeping force in Haiti had crashed near Fonds-Verrettes close to the border with the Dominican Republic.
