Julie worked as a radio reporter for BBC and independent radio all over the UK before joining swissinfo.ch's predecessor, Swiss Radio International, as a producer. After attending film school, Julie worked as an independent filmmaker before coming to swissinfo.ch in 2001. 

The Institut Villa Pierrefeu in Glion is one of the last traditional finishing schools for ladies in Switzerland. It attracts wealthy young women from all over the world, including royalty. A group of students have just finished a summer course focusing on etiquette, and they’re being tested on what they’ve learned. (swissinfo, Julie Hunt)
