FC Basel coach quits for German side
The coach of Swiss football champions FC Basel, Thorsten Fink, is leaving to join the German side of Hamburg.

Basel say they agreed to Fink’s request to terminate his contract and the payment of an undisclosed sum. Assistant coach Heiko Vogel is taking over on an interim basis.
The former Bayern Munich player joined Basel in 2009 and won the Swiss championship twice as well as a cup title.
Two weeks ago Basel stunned Manchester United with 3-3 away draw in a group match of the European Champions League.
Top of their group, the Swiss side face Benfica of Portugal next week.
