Ippoliti calls it quits with Servette
The midfielder, Luca Ippoliti, has decided to quit the first division football team, Servette Geneva, to join Zurich's Grasshoppers, which is also in the first division.
The 26-year-old from Bern has signed a contract with Grasshoppers until the end of the 2003/2004 season.
During the four seasons that Ippoliti played for Geneva’s Servette, he was often sidelined by a serious knee injury.
