The rapid rise and fall of a Swiss cycling legend is documented in a new film

Cyclist Hugo Koblet was the first Swiss international star after the Second World War. In 1950 he became the first non-Italian to win the Giro D'Italia, and the following year he won the Tour de France. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
