Cabbage sausage from canton Vaud
Compared with the Germans who eat a staggering 30 kg of sausage per person each year, the Swiss are average sausage fans, at around 6 kg each. But the Swiss passion for sausage is clear - they have more than 400 different types. One of them is the "saucisse aux choux", or "saucisse vaudoise", which has cabbage in it.
