Swiss skier Didier Cuche seems assured of victory in the world cup Super-G, but in the overall world cup has fallen further behind the current leader, Bode Miller.

Cuche came third in in the Super-G in Kvitfjell in Norway on Sunday, 12 hundredths of a second behind Miller. The winner was Austrian Georg Streitberger.
Two other Swiss arrived in the top ten: Ambrosi Hoffmann was joint fourth and Didier Défago, came seventh. Tobias Grünenfelder was 25th.
Cuche now has a lead of 89 points ahead of his nearest rival in the Super-G, Christoph Gruber of Austria. There is only one more world cup race in the discipline left this season, in Bormio in Italy on March 13.
Cuche also leads the downhill rankings, but is only five points ahead of Miller.
However, in the overall world cup Miller has increased his lead over Cuche to 185 points. There are six races left, but Cuche will not compete in the two slaloms.
