The last Global Forum for Modern Direct Democracy was held in Tunis, Tunisia in 2015 amid fundamental conversations about democratic movements in that country. Since then, the National Dialogue Quartet, a team advocating for democracy in Tunisia, has won the Nobel Peace Prize, and the work continues.
