Swiss luxury hotel passes into German hands
The Beau Rivage palace in Interlaken has new owners after Swiss bank Credit Suisse sold it to a German hotel group.
Lindner Hotels of Dusseldorf bought the five star hotel from Credit Suisse’s estates division.
The new owners said there would be no changes to the palace’s management and board. The 55 employees have had their contracts renewed and Lindner Hotels said they were starting a year-long renovation programme.
The Lindner group own 19 hotels in all, including two Swiss ones in Loèche-les-Bains and Crans-Montana in the Valais.
