Davos bounce back
Following Saturday's humiliating 2-0 defeat against Langnau, Davos recouped their losses with a 4-1 win over Chur on Sunday.
Davos’ much-needed victory gives them gives them a clear, six point lead over competitors Ambri and Zug in the ice-hockey league, who each have 33 points.
There was a reversal of fortunes in store for Kloten, who slumped to eighth place after losing 3-4 to Lausanne.
In the first round of the weekend games, Kloten beat Bern 4-3.
Bern, who have lost four of the last six matches played this season, at least succeeded in equalising 3-3 with Fribourg.
Kloten and Bern are now level on 28 points, in seventh and eighth place respectively.
It proved to be a tough weekend for Lugano, who lost two games. They were beaten 5-4 by Rapperswil-Jona on Saturday, and 4-3 in their second game against ZSC Lions.
Lugano now rank fifth, with 26 points, one point ahead of ZSC Lions.
Lausanne pulled off a 4-3 win over Kloten on Sunday, after they were thrashed 1-4 by Chur on Sunday.
Ambri managed to score an impressive six goals over their opponents, Rapperswil-Jona, who failed to score even one goal.
