No European PGA card for Bossert
Swiss professional golfer André Bossert has failed to earn his European PGA card for next season.
Bossert, who was taking part in the qualifying tournament in San Roque and Sotogrande in Spain, didn’t make the cut after four rounds. The golfer missed out by just one shot the place he needed among the first 80.
The other Swiss representative attempting to get his card, Englishman Marcus Knight, did pass the cut and made it through to the final two rounds.
To earn his tour card, he will have to seriously improve his play by six or seven shots on Monday’s sixth and final round though to move up from 67th place on the leaderboard.
As he passed the cut, Knight has already earned the right to take part in the European Challenge Tour next season.
