
Released hostage “tired but happy”
Max Göldi, the Swiss businessman detained in Libya for nearly two years, said on Monday he was “tired but happy” to be back home.

“This is a very moving moment for me,” he told journalists in Bern, with a slight quiver in his voice.
He said he had been the victim of a conflict for which he was not responsible and thanked all those who had worked for his release.
He added that he would need time to get back to normal life.
