
Stone washing jeans proves deadly for many textile workers
Jeans have lasting appeal; no other clothing item is more popular. In the past few years stonewashed jeans have been in vogue. But in many countries workers spray the jeans manually with a toxic mix they inhale without adequate protection. The NGO Berne Declaration is calling for a worldwide ban. (SF/swissinfo.ch)
