Lütolf swims through to final
Switzerland's Remo Lütolf has qualified for the 50 metre breaststroke final in the world short course swimming championships in Moscow.
The St Gallen swimmer clocked a time of 27"44 seconds coming in behind the Ukraine's Oleg Lisogor and Brazil's Eduardo Fischer.
It was bad news however for teammate Lorenz Liechti, who failed to qualify for the 4 x 100 metres. The Basel boy finshed in eight place in a time of 56"21 seconds.
It was a similar story for the Swiss women, who were racing in the 4 x 100 metre relay final. Dominique Diezi, Nicole Zahnd, Sandrine Paquier and Caroline Steffan finished in seventh place in a combined time of 3'45"17.
