Two days after winning the women's giant slalom in Park City, Switzerland's Sonja Nef was unable to add the slalom race to her weekend honours.
Nef was eliminated from Saturday's event after the first run, leaving Karin Roten Meier as Switzerland's only representative in the second run.
Meier, who is making a comeback this season after giving birth to her first child, finished 17th overall, almost four seconds behind the winner, Croatia's Janica Kostelic.
Germany's Martina Ertl took second place, a result which put her top of the new season's overall classification. Christel Saioni of France completed Saturday's podium line-up.
